Kae Lugo sees the world differently through her lens. Where others see ordinary she creates extraordinary. She articulates her artistic expression through textures, shadows and a full spectrum of colors.​

Kae was born in Teaneck NJ and was inspired and encouraged by her mother, who is also very talented. Kae would stay up with her mother and the two of them would paint the night away.  Now we know where Kae gets her talents.

 

Kae grew up surrounded by nature at New Jersey’s southern shore. The ocean's calming presence and the beauty of the Pinelands lent for a backdrop to her desire to capture the world through her ​Canon Rebel.

She studied at the Art Institute of Philadelphia, won the 4.0 GPA award and best of quarter in 2011, as well as  nominated five additional times for best of quarter.

Her specialty is creative candid portraits, abstract photography and fine art photography, Encaustics. She finds inspiration in rustic architectural surroundings, nature and the simplicity of some subjects.

​

Not only is Kae a very talented Photographer, she enjoys crafting of all kinds, cooking, party planning and teaching her two daughters.  Kae hopes to pass down her talents to her daughter's and teach them the importance of the Arts.

​

When there is an upcoming event, Kae transforms her kitchen into what her husband calls, Santa's workshop.
